World Gaming plc’s First Day on the AIM

World Gaming, a leading provider of internet gaming software, announced that it has started trading on the London Stock Exchange's Alternative Investment Market (AIM) with the symbol WGP. The initial price per share is $1.00 US, and they have sold close to 4.5 million shares. Currently, the shares cannot be traded in the US market.

Interactive Systems Inc., a primary subsidiary of World Gaming, is based in Antigua, and licenses internet gambling software to online casinos and poker rooms. Customers pay a licensing fee as well as monthly fees to Interactive Systems.
