William Hill executive resigns
The U.K gambling company William Hill have announced that Tom Singer has resigned from his post as Chief Operations Officer and Executive Director.
According to a company statement, the decision follows a review of the company’s executive roles. David Harding will take over Singer’s role, as well as continuing in his current role as Chief Executive Officer.
Singer revealed his pride at what he had achieved at William Hill and looked to the future but would not be drawn on any immediate plans he has.
"After six stimulating years at William Hill and having recently seen the company report record interim profits and I look forward to a fresh professional challenge."
William Hill Chairman, Charles Scott, expressed his gratitude at Singer’s time in his role.
"On behalf of the Board I would like to thank Tom for the contribution he has made to William Hill since our IPO, both as Finance Director and, more recently, as Chief Operating Officer. We wish Tom every success in the future."
