Well Known Casino Boss Murdered

Barry DeLacey, 62, one of the most influential figures in the UK gaming business has been murdered in his luxury flat in Leeds city centre.

DeLacey died last Friday night from multiple stab wounds. A 27 year old man, not from the Leeds area was arrested on suspicion of murder late on Friday evening. A divorcee and father of two, DeLacey was one of the gaming industry’s most high profile and influential figures. He was the former QE2 casino manager and one of the founders of the highly successful group of Blue Chip Casinos.

He will be sadly missed.
