Playtech Set to Float
The leading internet casino software provider, Playtech has chosen to float on the London Stock Exchange (LSE).
The company have announced that they plan to place US$300 million (£175 million) worth of shares whilst institutions have valued the company at around US$950 million.
Avigur Zmora Playtech’s chief executive said, “The IPO will raise the profile of the company and provide it with a significant platform for growth. We look forward to developing the business.
Playtech is one of the biggest names in the industry and has been designing, developing and licensing casino, bingo, fixed odds and poker software since its launch way back in 1999. Well known casinos and poker sites to run on Playtech software include Golden Palace, Tote Casino and Casino Tropez.
