Man wins lottery… doesn’t tell the wife
An American woman is suing her husband after discovering he had won a share of a $10.2 million lottery jackpot and not uttered a word to her about it.
Donna Campbell found out about Arnim Ramdass’s windfall after 'Googling' his name and lottery numbers after she became suspicious of his weird behaviour. He would turn off the television for no reason and disconnected the phone.
Her suspicions were aroused further when she found a postcard congratulating him on the purchase of a new home.
Ms Campbell’s husband was one of 17 airline mechanics who shared the $10.2 million win, netting each person approximately $600,000.
“Here's a guy who for years has spent marital money on the lottery and at casinos, and he's always lost,'” said Bruce Baldwin, Ms Campbell's attorney.
"And now he finally wins, and he's trying to keep it from his wife. That's pretty low.''
