iGaming and Gambit to Host Gaming Legal Update
Gambit, the online industry forum and iGaming Business Magazine in conjunction with Lyceum Events is planning to host an event this week to investigate the risks posed by current US legislation with regards to the industry.
The event will cover a number of legal topics relating to recent events that have shaken the online gaming industry. Items will include a presentation explaining State and Federal indictments, which will provide an overview of anti-gaming legislations throughout individual states.
Later in the evening a panel of legal experts will chair an open forum to discuss topics including UK and EU extradition, the recent arrests of industry figures David Carruthers, Peter Dicks, Manfred Bodner and Norbert Teufelberger. They will also investigate how to obtain information as to who is marked for arrest upon arrival in the US and the EU.
The event will take place this evening at the Cass Business School in London, with registration starting from 6.30pm (GMT).
