Gang arrested over casino thefts in London

Police have arrested a gang of men who are suspected of carrying out three robberies on gamblers as they left casinos on London.

The arrests came after the police raided 4 homes in Notting Hill, Harlesden, Ealing and Palmers Green.

Officers believe the gang carried out two robberies on September 2nd and another one on October 1st 2007, fleecing gamblers of their winnings as they left casinos. It is not known how much money they stole.

The man arrested in Ealing was also in possession of a prohibited weapon.

The gang are currently in custody at a North London police station.
