Big Brother Eviction Betting: Charley odds on to go
It seems as though tonight’s Big Brother eviction is the most foregone conclusion that the show has ever had. With Charley and Tracey facing the public vote, bookmakers have already paid out on gobby Charley to be the latest housemate to be booted out.
Ladbrokes have paid out £10,000 after closing the book on the eviction when Charley reached as short as 1/500 to be evicted- a show record.
"We knew we'd get a hiding as soon as Charley was up for eviction,” Ladbrokes spokesman Nick Weinberg said.
"We held on in the hope that her chances would improve, but the odds don't lie."
William Hill has a similar story, taking bets in excess of £100,000 on probably the show’s most argumentative housemate ever being voted out.
"It's hardly going out on a limb - Charley is a certainty to go and if the unthinkable occurs it will be the best result for bookies in Big Brother betting history", said William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams.
However, unlike Ladbrokes, William Hill still have the book open, with Charley at seemingly short (though it seems ridiculous to say) odds of 1/66.
Favourable odds for what seems a 100% certainty, especially with William Hill reporting their largest bet on Tracey (who is at odds of 14/1 to go) has been £10.
In the win market, Essex boy Brian is still the favourite to be the last housemate to leave the house at 8/15, followed by Liam at 5/1. However, odds on Chanelle winning are shortening all the time, with the northern lass at odds as short as 5/1.
Meanwhile, apart from the eviction, the housemates are set for a big surprise tonight with the introduction of six new housemates. However, it would not be Big Brother without a twist; only some of the new entrants will be able to become fully-fledged housemates.
