Pamela Anderson and hubby heading for Poker game Down Under
Former Playboy centrefold Pamela Anderson and husband Rick Salomon are heading to Australia to play in the Aussie Millions Poker Championship at Melbourne’s Crown Casino after poker pro Salomon requested a seat in the competition.
Organisers are currently negotiating an appearance fee for Anderson.
The main event of the tournament starts on Monday with many famous faces involved; actress and World Series of Poker bracelet winner Jennifer Tilly, American pie star Shannon Elizabeth, cricket legend Shane Warne and tennis star Mark Philippoussis have all put down $10,000 (AUS) to try and get a piece of the $10 million prize pool.
Poker is the game responsible for getting Anderson and Salomon together after Anderson owed Salomon more than $280,000 after a game in Las Vegas.
"Rick, being the gentleman, said he would wipe my debt if I gave him a kiss, so I have to thank Vegas for our relationship switching gears," Anderson said.
Salomon, who enjoyed infamy after he sold the Paris Hilton sex-tape, wed Anderson last October. The couple have had a rocky relationship to say the least since then. Anderson had filed for divorce but has since changed her mind.
