888 online casino signs with Cryptologic
Two giants in the world of online gaming have joined forces in a deal which will permeate throughout the industry. 888 Holdings, which operates the highly-successful 888.com online casino, has signed a three-year licencing deal with the online casino software provider Cryptologic.
Through the terms of the agreement, 888 will cherry pick the games they feel are best suited to their brand and integrate them into their casino offering. So far, they have chosen Cubis, Bejeweled and the progressive jackpot slot machine, Millionaire’s Club.
“This reaffirms 888's strategy of creating a game ecosystem, powered by an industry-leading integration infrastructure, which enables 888 to introduce a diversified offering to existing and new players, worldwide,” commented Gigi Levy, CEO of 888.
Although no financial terms of the deal have been so far disclosed, you can bet your bottom dollar there was more than a pretty-penny involved.
"Today's announcement is consistent with CryptoLogic's strategy to partner with the worlds biggest and best gaming brands - as a way to offer the ultimate player experience," said Brian Hadfield, CryptoLogic's President and CEO.
"888's reputation, established player base and global marketing strength, paired with CryptoLogic's industry-leading games - it's a winning combination."
Shares in 888 Holdings are up 2.97 per cent to 156p whilst shares in Cryptologic are trading at 1036p, up 0.97 per cent.
