£26.5 EuroMillions jackpot winner is already millionaire
No wonder the latest big-winner of the EuroMillions lottery is choosing to remain anonymous; it has been discovered that they were already a millionaire.
"If a winner doesn't take publicity, we can neither confirm nor deny their identity,” said a Camelot spokesman.
The mystery man became Britain’s second-biggest lottery winner ever on August 31, scooping £26,553,767.
It is thought the man owns a business empire worth millions, with investments in the UK and abroad. It has also been reported that he lives in a £4 million mansion on a private estate with a fleet of luxury cars.
It is reported that the man’s son deposited the winning cheque in a bank in Surrey.
The man took five days to claim his new millions and missed out on £23,000 in interest; he must be gutted.
The £26.5 million win comes just weeks after Angela Kelly, 40, became Britain’s biggest-ever lottery winner after winning £35.4 million, also on the EuroMillions lottery.
