Online casino software suppliers Microgaming and Playtech were given reason to celebrate last night after receiving awards at the second ever eGR B2B Awards. The ceremony took place at Chelsea Football Club in London and was designed to recognise achievement and innovation by online gambling service providers.
Microgaming won two awards on the night, one of which was for slot innovation as they added to their poker platform award. The popular software provider runs a number of online casinos including Ladbrokes and 32Red. Playtech won a bingo software award with their impressive casino products narrowly missing out on other prizes. Playtech also provide software for a number of well known casino brands with William Hill and Betfair being among their customers.
Finally, 888 also received a prize for a bingo product. The award will be a welcome break from the controversy that has surrounded the company recently with talks with Ladbrokes falling through and a number of their top executives walking out.
