Will there be a White Christmas in 2010?

With just ten days left to go until Christmas Day, speculation is starting to turn into informed predictions as to whether 2010 will be the year for a White Christmas.

Irish bookmaker Paddy Power has made sure that they are offering the fairest odds on this, in their White Christmas 2010 market. The bookmaker has listed the chance of a London White Christmas in 2010 at 10/11 while Belfast, Dublin and Derry are all priced at evens.

Slightly less likely to have a White Christmas this year according to Paddy Power is Cork, which is listed at 5/4 and even less likely are slightly warmer climates such as Florida and Lanzarote, which are priced at 16/1 and 25/1 respectively.

The bookmaker’s favourite place to experience a White Christmas this year is New York, which is listed at 1/4.
