Coastal Marina LLC has withdrawn its offer to buy the Atlantic City hotel-casino, Trump Marina, after their official bid received no response. Following Harrah’s Entertainment’s withdrawal from bidding for a new casino development in Kansas, it appears as if this popular New Jersey casino will not be trading hands either. New York based gaming company Costal Marina LLC told reporters that on 23rd August they submitted a bid to take charge of the resort to Trump Entertainment Resorts Inc., but had not heard back.
Following the lack of response, Costal Marina LLC have now decided to withdraw their offer. A spokesman for Costal Marina LLC confirmed that they were “done” and that “they are using us to engage the market and we’re not going to be used like that”.
Trump Marina Hotel-Casino has been open for 25 years and was originally named Trump’s Castle Hotel Casino. The hotel includes seven restaurants, a nightclub, showroom, health spa, recreation deck, outdoor pool, tennis, basketball and shuffleboard courts, a jogging track and of-course, a state of the art casino.
