Last year saw Betfair agree to use Playtech as their exclusive downloadable casino software provider. This relationship has now taken another step, as Playtech announced that it will be providing a flash-based casino product for Betfair.
The software is expected to go live around the end of this month and will mean Betfair Casino players can access a variety of flash-based games, including many themed games. This news comes after Betfair’s four year relationship with software developers Chartwell ended at the beginning of August.
Sam Hobcraft, head of Betfair’s gaming products stated: “We chose Playtech for our casino offering for the quality and range of their games together with the opportunity to add further products over time.”
The addition of Playtech’s flash software will mean that Betfair will be able to manage their flash players alongside their downloadable casino players. This will allow for enhanced bonus offerings and VIP management tools to be offered, as well as meaning that just one wallet will be needed to play in the different formats.
